SGL (Solid Grade Compact Laminate)

Layers of paper thermoset into a strong hard-wearing material which can be used in furniture (tables, benches, stools, cubicles, lockers and laboratories), kitchen worktops or decorative applications with a colour or woodgrain melamine face. Also used because of its dimensional stability and x-ray translucent qualities in medical furniture and operating table applications.

Extremely durable & tough and can be used in high moisture, high humidity environments. External grades are also available. Other similar materials such as Compact Density Fibreboard (CDF) offer an alternative decorative more lightweight and cost-effective option. Wide range of decors and finishes.
